Search Console: more control over messages and SERPs – SEO and engine news – Ultimate SEO

Google has just improved (but not yet been perfect) its system for managing messages sent to webmasters from the Search Console and adds a possibility to inhibit (or not) information from the Search Console directly in the results of research…

Google has just added two features to its Search Console, in the settings for use. To access it, you must click on the pictogram showing a silhouette decorated with a notched wheel, at the top right of the interface:

We then arrive at the two possible choices:

User preferences: this is a new version of the configuration system that we showed you a few days ago, but more ergonomic. You can fully subscribe to email alerts, or messages regarding specific issues (not recommended), or messages regarding monthly search performance for your property (recommended if you have had many more properties in the property. Search Console). Please note, the setting is valid for all the sites you follow. It is not (yet?) Possible to perform a filter on certain properties only:

Search Console Info in the search results: this option allows you to display (or not) the information from the Search Console in the search results of the engine:

If you deactivate this function, this type of information will no longer appear in the SERPs:

These two features were quite expected by users of Search Console, especially those who have acquired a large number of properties. It only remains to set up a granular filter on certain sites in terms of message sending preferences (spam?) As is the case for Search Console information in the SERP and this will be perfect. Will the message be received from Mountain View’s ?
